This image was taken with a Borg 77ED. I have owned this scope since about 2003 and the poor thing has not really seen any use. For a time I tried to use it with a CCD camera and then a CMOS camera but I did not like the results due to bloating in the L and B wavelengths. This is a product of the semi APO design of the Borg. Recently I purchased an Astronomik L3 UVIR cut filter to trim the wavelengths on each side of the visible spectrum. I am pleased to say it looks like the filter works great on the old Borg!
