Description

I'd like to show you the first working prototype of my new ZIF filter drawer. "ZIF" stands for Zero Insertion Force, i. e. there are no screws for the fixation of the filter glass. The filter slips into the bottom part and is being held by a proper lid.

The filter name, its size and preferred direction is imprinted directly on the drawer.

It's part of the TS filter drawer system I started two years ago. The reason to construct the drawers was the lack of a suitable drawer for 36mm dia unmounted filters for the 2-inch system.
