Description

Rain...and more Rain... This was the first clear night in three weeks and of course there is a monster very bright moon. I setup early... however...had to wait for M101 to clear the two trees! Started imaging at 11:30 pm and went in to the house to warm-up by the fire and fell asleep until almost four AM. Thought it would a wasted night but when I went back out... PHD... the mount and BackyardEOS on the T3i (Modified) was still clicking away.

Ended up with,

81 x 120

15 Darks

15 Bias

15 Flats (Which I forgot to check and they were bad. However I was able to redo them the next evening because the though the OTA was off the mount and in my office the focus and camera had not been moved. Used my light panel.)

L-Pro filter

WO GTF 81mm Five Element F5.9

T3i

PixInsight and Gimp

I need to get a longer FL for galaxy season.
