Description

Sifting through 2013 data, I found this Cone Nebula region image and have subjected it to a star removal routine. While there are many who can argue against using such programs, the use of such a star removal algorithm actually reveals detail that is lost in the dazzling array of stars, preventing the brain's interpretation of subtle tonality differences in the sky background. I was quite impressed with the result, noting the numerous clouds and features that suddenly became more apparent.
