Description

This 2018 image was shot with 10" newtonian EQ and asi120mc coupled with a 5X Powermate. On this night I shot a total of 14 seperate avi"s at 2 min. each. I stacked the best 10% of each. This gave me a final stack size of between 1000 and 1200 frames for each of the 14 images. After visually inspecting each, the four at the very end were distinctly better than the other 10. So I derotated these four in Win Jupos to give a a final stacked image of about 5,000 frames. Each were lightly sharpened in Registax prior to derotation. After combining the four, I did post processing in Gimp, which was very minimal because the stacked data turned out pretty good.
