Description

The Grus Quartet in LRGB (10x180s) taken from the Astronomical Society of New South Wales (ANSNW) Wiruna dark site on a good night a few years ago. Not a lot of subs but enough to do this. I'd love to post something more recent but a move to the Blue Mountains 6 months ago has returned zero results between horrific heat and clouds in Summer giving was to just clouds and my new neighbours' 3 billion lumen backyard led array on a hair trigger movement sensor pointed straight at me. Not that it makes any difference as the weather has been too rubbish to setup anyway. So I rummage through what gave me some joy in the past and found this. The ASNSW's Annual South Pacific Star Party is on in May (our Winter) and that is well worth waiting for and has had an excellent run of cold dry weather in recent years so Holiday's are booked and I'm ready.
