Description

The Cygnus Wall is part of the larger North America Nebula (NGC 7000, Caldwell 20) – an emission nebula 1,500 light years away in the constellation of Cygnus. The W-shaped ridge is 20 light years in length and is an area of intense star formation.

This was photographed between 27 May and 19 August 2017 from our home observatory in the UK.

This is a reprocess of data previously presented by Steve.

Filters: Astrodon 3nm NB

Mount: Mesu 200

Ha: 18 x 1200s

OIII: 13 x 1200s

SII: 13 x 1200s

A total of 14 hours 40 minutes exposure.
