Description

NGC4565, dubbed the "Needle Galaxy", is a barred spiral galaxy 40 million light-years away in the constellation of Coma Berenices. The galaxy spans roughly 100,000 light-years. This is one of my favorite galaxies, so I was determined to shoot it, even with my tiny 80 APO. Took some time and a switch from Photoshop to PixInsight to get the color right.
