Daylight saving came in the morning I made this capture. As a result I lost an hour and the GRS transit I had hoped to image was further advance than I wanted. Nevertheless the seeing was splendid and this resulted in much detail coming through in the image. The GRS is beautifully positioned at the limb and about to rotate out of view.
The North Temperate Belt, which was almost orange last year has faded to a very subtle pin colour. The complex wake of the GRS continues to exhibit some red colouration. There is also an interesting dark maroon coloured barge in the South Temperate Zone.
