Description

This is the first real deep sky image I've ever taken. I turned 19 a few weeks ago and I am new about all those stuff. For the last 10 years I was just visually observing the night sky in my Bortle Class 4 backyard with my two refractors and my 16'' Dobsonian telescope. But at some point I wanted to capture in colour what I saw in grey.

So I bought the Star Adventurer in November. My new Eos 800D is currently in modification but the sky yesterday was so clear I had to take some shots of the first deep sky objekt (-besides of stars) I have ever seen with my eyes thru a scope. So I took my old Nikon D90, an Nikkor lens, cable release, dew heater and the Star Adventurer outside, made a quick polar alignment and started shooting. I processed the final stacked image with PixInsight, Phtoshop CC and Lightroom as good as I could with my currently poor skills in all three programs. But I am happy with it, especially for the "first light".
