Description

The surrondings of the Great Hercules Globular Cluster were imaged using a 75mm refractor and an infrared filter. The Bayer matrix on the OSC camera is basically transparent to IR light, which transform the OSC camera into a kind of mono camera. Imaging in IR is much less sensitive to artificial light pollution.
All light below 800nm has been cut off.

Using the software "Carte du Ciel" I managed to identify some galaxies and their magnitude, and I tried to find their distance using the CDS portal (http://cdsportal.u-strasbg.fr/ ).
