Description

M101, also known as NGC5457, is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Ursa Major located an estimated 21 million light-years away. The galaxy has a diameter of about 170,000 light-years and contains about a trillion stars.



Taken over multiple nights from February to June 2018 from Campbell, CA, USA. Sky: 18.80 mag/arcsec^2
