Description

This nebula is rarely imaged. It is quite shy. Not very far from the famous Bubble nebula. So I wanted to give him a chance. There have been very few grey levels after processing, about 35 (!). So you are warned. Do not try this at home with your kids. ;-)

Nine hours of exposure and the 4.5 h of OIII among them were almost useless. There is an extremely faint O signal in the core. You would need a fast instrument and a crazy exposure time to get something out of it. I am sure that there are some passionate people here who would give it a try with a f/3 and 30h. I needed to look at the HEASARC catalogue to identify the nebula which I first found on Aladin.

It is funny that the nebula shape reminds the Tulip nebula. Enjoy !
