Description

Here is another try for M45 this time with the Taka. The result is obviously better than my original try in less time. The interesting thing on this one is that I managed to work the ASI1600 artefacts around by decreasing the chrominance/saturation around the brightest stars on the chrominance image. I think the trick is not that bad, giving a nice white shine around the big stars and worked very well on removing the nasty ASI1600 reflexions artefacts. I took long and short exposures as detailed on the image informations and combined them into a High Dynamic Range image using the dedicated Pixinsight tool. It resulted in an image having very small blown cores for the brightest stars.

Tell me what you think about it ! Clear skies. Brice
