Description

At 9 deg altitude there is nothing to be done, so I had to downgrade my pixel scale to a lame 0.32"/px. But as a reward I've got that

I absolutely love this frame of our Moon's surface. Tycho's slash is exceptionally prominent. The wavy sea, Mare Serenitatis, shows all its wrinkles and the sort-of sand-like beach around Aristotle and Eudoxus is rich in detail. This GSO Cassegrain is showing potential and I hope I will use it at the resolution-limiting scale of 0.16"/px. With luck, good seeing and a high rising morning ecliptic around the date of the Autumn Equinox I have some things planned... Wait and see.
