Description

IC 443 or Jellyfish Nebula is a supernova remnant. Its distance is approx. 5000 lightyears. The time of the supernova is not sure, estimates range to about 30000 years. A pulsar has been found within, and it is thought to be the remnant of the start that formed the supernova.

One of my first narrowband images. I also have some RGB for the stars, so I might reprocess this.
