Description

The seeing was good, but not great from my backyard when I captured the four 8 minute live-stacked images that were stacked to produce this image of NGC891. The images were captured from my suburban sky using my IDAS LPR filter. I am reasonably happy with the results here, and definitely think its an improvement over the image I uploaded to Astrobin earlier this year, when seeing wasn't nearly so good. The stars are improved, as well as the color and contrast. This data was also a lot easier to work with than the data that went into the earlier image, which had bad star bloat from poor seeing.

Note: Each of the four 482 second images were actually 321 live-stacked 1.5 second images. So the total number of subs were 4x321 = 1284 1.5 second images. Astrobin really needs to support decimals in the sub duration field!
