Description

The Pinwheel Galaxy is a face-on spiral galaxy distanced 21 million light-years away from Earth in the constellation Ursa Major.

It is a target that I've imaged for the 3rd time, first with my Newtonian at 1000mm focal length, when I was starting this hobby, then with my refractor at 480mm and now with my SCT, at 2032mm. This was unplanned, I've removed the reducer for the first time to check my collimation properly, few hours later, I've slewed to M101, one of the few targets in my balcony's field of view, and I was amazed by how massive it looked. And so, the project begun to try one target at F10.
