Description

NGC 2070 - the Tarantula Nebula in the Large Magellanic Cloud.

Wow! The LMC has so much in it! Totally awesome!

This is my second go at this object. More data taken over several nights with a better mount! Yay!

Compared to my first go, I found it interesting trying to get the colour balance right. Trying to bring out detail, suppress the excessive signal from such a bright object and get some colour without making it look too "overcooked".
