Description

The Tulip nebula with a "sort of" HOO processing of my data which were taken with an OSC camera. The processing allowed me to stop producing "only-red" images like the previous ones and create a more interesting one.

There are a few articles on how to create Hubble palette like data from OSC lights, I have to thank Shawn Nielsen (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5V1tZ3QlYY) and Simon Todd (https://www.stastrophotography.com/creating-a-hubble-palette-image-from-osc-dual-band-data/) for their tutorials.

I did not follow "*exactly* their instructions, but they gave me an idea of how to proceed. I followed Shawn Nielsen for the general approach (i.e. start with the right channel combination) but then I used many techniques from Simon Todd article.

Days after having ended postprocessing I realized that this field contains Cygnus X-1 and the shockwave shell that some authors attribute to the nearby black hole activity.
