Description

I photographed the area around Orion in October 2018.

At that time I tested my new 135mm lens.

It is a Zeiss Apo Sonar f2.0.

Together with a Canon 6Da astromodified,

mounted on the Star Adventurer .

The sky quality is at Bortle 3-4.

But since I didn't have an autoguider, I only exposed for 100 sec.

Bias, Darks and Flats were also made. Everything at ISO 800.

Generally I am satisfied with it.

What disturb are unfortunately the ugly reflections.

Especially on the bright stars.

You can live with it if you consider it as a wide field image.

The data have been on my hard drive for almost 3 years.

Since I have recently worked out a workflow in PixInsight for wide field images, I could process this image only now.

So this confirms that every image has its time.

I hope you like it.

Best regards
