Description

SMC is the second largest of the satellite galaxies of the Milky Way. At 2.3 magnitude, SMC is readily visible to the naked eye without strong light pollution. Close to SMC is the second brightest globular cluster 47 Tucanae, which is also visible to the naked eye. Data acquired using T4 of Chilescope, combining Ha and OIII data from Telescope live's AUS-2 (Takahashi FSQ106).
