Description

The planetary conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn on December 21st, 2020.

Known as the Star of Bethlehem, in the popular belives, but is impossible since at the time of the Christ's birth, both planets were in opposition, this alignment event at the naked eye looks a very bright star in the nothern sky, and usually hapens from 800 years to 800 years.

In this capture it was also possible to see the Jovian Moons on Jupiter, and also Tetis (faintly) on Saturn. At the time, I had the opportunity to catch a fifth celestial object, who was later confirmed by the Dr. Brian Skiff from the Lowell Observatory, the Dr. Nelson Nunes from the Alqueva Observatory and a social media friend (Valter Reis), who they identified the object as the Star HD191250 - HIP99314.
