Do I need more stars or have I tamed them too much?

The Rokinon 135mm appears to be a great lens but it has a learning curve that takes time to master. I haven't mastered it yet but I'm getting better. As I've mentioned before with my Sadr region image, this lens is very sensitive to the slightest change in backfocus. I have bought aluminum spacers between 1mm - .1 mm to dial it in for next season although I think I'm getting pretty close to good spacing now. Overall its a great lens and I think that I know my plan of attack for next season to improve my images with it. I was happy with this image and I was happy with the star color when zooming in.

I didn't include darks because It seems that they don't improve the image using the 2600MC. I have redone most of my 2600 images and done minimal processing to test using a darks and no darks stack. The 2600 has negligible dark noise so I don't think that its helping in this case. The non darks stack of my targets always seem to be better in terms of contrast and darker (in a good way) after testing using a few simple operations in photoshop. I have taken new darks immediately after imaging every target so I'm not using the same set and they are at identical temps. Has anyone else experienced this?
C&C welcome
