Description

Sh2-140 is a section of the Cepheus bubble, an H2 emission region. The compression wave from expanding bubble triggered star formation in this small section. While this nebula has a roughly circular Ha shape, this is not bubble itself - the Cepheus bubble is 10 degrees across!

Ha was added to the super-luminance and red channels.
