Description

This is another experiment combining DSLR RGB data with HDR luminance from a cooled CMOS camera. In this case the RGB was collected two years ago using a Canon 70D (unmodified) mounted on a 6"RC, and the luminance data was collected with an ZWO ASI1600MM Pro mounted on a 8" Newtonian. Once again, I really like the look. The colors provided by the DSLR are subtle (although there is a lack of reds and a bit of a blue-green shift, characteristic of the unmodified Canon70D), while the luminance layer brings the image into remarkable clarity.
