Description

A popular image these days ... M81 and M82 in Ursa major. Roughly 12 hours imaging time , including 3 hours HA. HA adds a lot of detail to the core of M82 and its jets, as well as star forming regions in M81.

I first thought that the background is a bit patchy but after checking similar images I think it is the IFN that starts to become visible. To show the IFN better one needs more time ... or a darker sky.
