Description

Once again I reprocessed data from the Mars apparition, this time 3 separate captures spanning 3.5 hours. The seeing was very good during this time.
By the end of August, Mars had substantially returned to its pre dust storm state and the colour began once again to take on a rusty red colour, as opposed to the more yellow. gold hues seen what the dust storm was at its peak.
The clouds around the north polar region once again display a deep blue colour as have all my images from closest approach onwards. Perhaps this had something to do with the angle of the Sun after opposition.
