Description

Hi everyone,

well I hope someone from Seattle appreciates the joke :P

I've been working on this data for a while and I think now I'm ready to release the image. I experimented a lot with it, mainly if drizzle would improve the image, but I have to say I am unable to get a better result out of it. So I just used the undrizzled version.

Honestly I find galaxy season to be a real challenge given that I only own a 4" APO. But still I am amazed of what can be done with this scope!

This is the first time I have been using my filter offsets. I had some troubles with that in the past and thought my focuser may not be stable enough but it turned out I just didn't wait long enough for the scope to reach ambient back then. Now everything is working and I can finally do LRGB-dither-LRGB which increase the net imaging time immensely.

Other than that I read up on noise reduction a bit more and even though I'm not too happy with the background this is as far as I can get right now.

I also tried out StarSpikes Pro. I like how you can actually model the spikes after real telescopes with all the options. On some of the variants here you can have a look. Tell me how you like it :)
