Description

Probably the most impressive color pallet in the sky. From France, even at southernmost point in latitude, this object remains low above horizon . Refraction and atmospheric absorption are important

however, when the sky is washed out by the rain during the day , transparency becomes optimal at night and it is when I took this image

The IDAS filter prevented light pollution from hitting the CMOS . Even in the Quercy, orange light is clearly visible southward
