Here is a closeup of two angry dragons in NGC 6188. It’s an excellent narrowband object, with strong signals in all three narrowband channels. I used the SHO palette, following the standard practice of shifting green to gold.

I’ve learned that SHO images are visually boring if there is too much gold color, arising from the Ha signal. Of course, the same thing is true of some HaRGB images, where Ha generates too much red. I hope this image has a pleasing balance of hues.
