With an increasingly bright moon I thought I would have one last go at an image before the light becomes too much. The weather is changing again too. I managed to take 42 subs of this at 4 minutes long each, using my Nikon D800 and my 3" refractor.

To give you an idea how massive the files are coming off this camera, it took PixInsight just under 6 hours to stack the data, and the total number of files I used for that, which includes the dark frames and so forth, were 55GB! On this computer I would only require 20 data sets like this before I would run out of space on my poor laptop's hard drive! That is why I do not keep lots of data for things like this... : )
