Description

NGC 6791 is a very unusual open star cluster located in the Lyra constellation. It is one the oldest cluster of the milky way with stars aged about 8 bilion years. The cluster is also hosting white dwarfs aged about 6 bilion years old. This out of sync ages makes it still very studied.
