The Wild Duck Cluster...

Located in Scutum in this beautiful area of the sky, this cluster is quite young and metal rich.

It is approximately 6,200 ly from us and if that is correct, the cluster spans about 95 ly across. It contains many yellow and red giants along with the hot blue giants that are so prominent.
