Description

M13, the great cluster in Hercules, the most famous globular cluster of the northern hemisphere.

This is my first image after having finally finalized the settings of my new setup, and to verify that it's operating accurately.

I must admit that the results are beyond my expectations, especially with such a short exposure time.

This is only the second time I took a picture of a cluster, the previous time was years ago on the same object.

Less than an hour of exposure from my backyard in the Paris region.
