Description

I'm returning to some of the first targets I imaged a year ago when I started this hobby. M16 is one of the first objects I imaged that blew me away. Although the quality was quite poor, I couldn't belive that I could take pictures of something I grew up seeing from Hubble. I remember seeing the original Pillars shortly after they were released set as the background on my father's computer screen as a very young child. I had no idea what they were but they captivated me every time my eyes crossed their path on the screen. I would just stare for the longest time trying to figure out what this magical and mystical place was as my father told me " ya, that's a REAL picture". My astonishment only grew as I learned more and more about the nebula. The circle of star life in action, the glowing gasses, the EGGs, the incomparable scale of it all... never gets old.
