Description

It's been a really long time since I imaged. Weather and work have conspired against me over the last 10 months, so this spring I decided to build a small slide off roof obsy in my backyard. Now I have no excuses if the skies are clear! To get back on the horse I decided to go for something big and bright. I've never imaged globs before so decided to give M13 some love. It's a fun easy target, although processing to control stars while at the same time bring the core right to the edge of blown is a bit tricky. I wanted the core to feel white hot, but still have some stellar detail. I think I got that ok. I felt a bit rusty with PI, so could probably do a little better, but I'm pleased with a first light in the obsy and nice to be out again!

EDIT- This is also my first time using Voyager for capture. Absolutely LOVE it.
