Description

Imaged on nights of 2020/10/5, 2020/10/10, 2020/10/11

Abell 60 (PK025-11.1) is an almost never imaged planetary nebula in Sagittarius. This is the first image on Astrobin. Abell60 is small , measuring 1.2 arc minutes and has a magnitude listed at 15.5. It shows some on the RGB image. The Oiii signal is much stronger than the Ha, and they have very similar distributions.

A tiny blue progenitor star is visible in the very center. It has a smooth football shape with subtle extensions in the corners.

This is everything I could find on the web about this PN. Very obscure.
