Description

The full moon was out, but I had to fiddle with my 8" RC and try to get the darn field to be flat. I didn't manage, so a number of very annoying artifacts are clearly visible. Yet none the less, I am glad that I managed to now get so much detail that I started to realize that the dark spots are not actually gaps in the nebulosity, but rather dark dust clouds in front of it. Neat!

Description: Now with added deconvolution skills! And less over-the-top saturation/contrast. Still the same annoying flares from the non-flat-field that are inherent to this data though. :-)
