Description

Still working on planetary skills... Yes, I have a long way to go generally and on this one I was worried about aligning the three images since there are no stars but no problem in PI.

This one I did with a mono ASI 290 and a filter wheel. I stacked the top 25% of the frames.

I wonder if the 15 or so minutes it took me to do the three 5,000 frame runs was enough time to create a rotation issue but I sort of doubt that. But I did download Winjupos and probably need to take a good look at that.

I now have a new 5x Tele Vue Powermate to try out and a whole bunch of reading material from a very generous expert planetary imager to go through to help me make the next step.

Well, of course, comments and criticism welcomed!

CS to all!
Mike
