Description

Comet C/2016 M1 (PANSTARRS) imaged on January 16th 2019 at only 8 degrees from celestial South Pole, when still was shinning in magnitude 11 at a distance of 3 A.U. from Sun and Earth. This comet could be visually observed during all year 2018.

Acquisition details:

Telescope Celestron RASA 11" f/2,2.

Camera ZWO 1600 Color.

Exposure 6 min. (3x120 sec. bin1).

From Bathurst, NSW (Australia).
