Description

The Veil Nebula complex is a supernova remnant of a giant star that exploded about 8000 years ago. It is located in the constellation Cygnus. The explosion left a cloud complex of heated ionized gas. The image shows the light emissions of the Hydrogen gas (red) and Oxygen III (greenblue).

50 x 300s Ha with Baader 7nm filter.
