Description

I have not imaged in over seven months; I even dismantled my entire imaging set-up! Once back together, I started testing. This is my first image of this region in Cygnus. Im relatively happy with it, but I seem to have forgotten all my usual PI routines. If anyone wants to share their PI processing routines with me, I SURE WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

Also, when I rebuilt everything, I decided to try an ethernet connection from my AP Mach1 GTO to my PC. In the past, I used a USB cable. It worked, but AP recommends an ethernet if you can do it. I have a fast PC and Astrophysics mount software. With APCC it was easy. I upgraded my software and now have SGO Pro, The SKYX Professional all connected directly to my mount via ONE cable ! Amazing! Astrophysics makes such good stuff! APCC is the greatest software every for full AP mount control. I dig it.

DWB 111, also known as the Propeller Nebula is a hydrogen-alpha emission nebula in Cygnus. The propeller shape is actually a small portion of a much larger emission nebula, which can be seen as faint red hydrogen-alpha nebulosity throughout the image frame. The distance to the nebula is not known.
