Description

The name of Trifid came by the shape of this emission and reflexion nebula: three bright lobes apart by dark lines of dust. It is one of the biggest nebulaes that there are into the Sagittarius boundaries of Milky Way, in whose heart has been discovered young stars, protoplanetary discs and other objects related with estelar formation.
