Description

IC 1318 or the Butterfly Nebula is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. It appears as a butterfly because of a dark cloud separating the nebula into two parts.

For this image, I used a combination of the RGB and Hydrogen channels in place of L. Version B is the hydrogen-alpha channel.

Clear skies and thanks for looking.
