Description

1300 light years away lies a young, luminous star shrouded in interstellar material. This object, known as a reflection nebula, shines as a result of the star's intense radiation reflecting its brilliant blue light. This process, called Rayleigh Scattering, is what gives Earth's skies their beautiful blue color, and is also responsible for making sunsets appear a fiery red!
