Description

I have actually had a number of clear nights recently, but due to incredible fatigue and no astronomical darkness to speak of too, I decided to have a break. Finally the other night, with a full moon shining bright - just after the lunar eclipse - I decided to image this object. The subs were not that great due to the excessive light, I had some movement in the focuser which annoyingly distorted the shape of the stars, but I am relatively pleased with this, having obtained 28 subs at 8 minutes long each, all using my 8" scope and modified Canon DSLR. I can just about see some of the outer fainter stuff - on a better night I think I would have captured this. Thanks everyone...
