Description

This object is a beautiful globular cluster located almost 30,000 light years away in the constellation of Hercules. It is one of the oldest globular clusters in the Milky Way and is the 15th brightest globular cluster in our sky. It contains over 300,000 stars and is similar in apparent size to the full moon.
