Description

Jupiter in the early evening hours of Sat 20 Jul 2019 UTC.

Taken one hour after sunset this view combines seven best stacks over 21 minutes, a longer than usual derotation interval due to variable seeing at lower altitude. GRS is seen approaching the CM and although detail is soft it's still quite reasonable. I had to apply stronger wavelets and DNR filter to smooth out the image.

Recordings acquired between 6:29 and 6:50 pm local time.
