Description

This object is a faint dust cloud in the constellation of Libra. This cloud has identifications in both the bright and dark nebulae catalogs. The dust is reflecting the light of nearby bright stars as well as obscuring the majority of the background stars.

This object does not have much detail and is not spectacular. But I enjoy the subtle shades and colorations of the dust cloud against the starry background. Not much has been written about this object and I could not determine its distance from us. A number of small background galaxies are visible in the image.

I believe that this image is the first appearance of this object on Astrobin.
